6 reasons to be vegan

1 - I do not like meat - right

Some people do not like chocolate! Other do not like jellies or creams, a question of taste.

It is 100 % OK being vegan if you do not like meat-eggs-cheese…

2 - Meat makes me feel bad - right

If you feel that meat-eggs-cheese is not for your body, go vegan!

3 - Vegan diet is healthier – right?

There is more enthusiastic bla-bla than scientific evidence in saying that vegan is healthier.

Vegan diet lacks some elements that are important for our bodies. The nutricionists alert on potential problems created by a vegan diet and a quite number of vegans suffer these problems. This is NOT a black-white conclusion, it SEEMS that a bit of meat-eggs-cheese is healthier than absolute vegan.

4 - Vegan has a lower environmental impact – wrong:  see “The Vegan Untruth”  in this website.

Growing grains, lentils, vegetables, nuts, fruits… has a tremendous environmental impact: habitat destruction, water eutrophication, pollution by biocides, loss of biodiversity…

Scientific studies show that the lowest environmental impact is obtained with a balanced diet made of vegetables plus some grass-fed meat-eggs-cheese.

5 - Vegan diet does not kill animals - wrong: see “The Vegan Untruth”  in this website.

A vegan diet kills the same or more animals than an omnivorous diet with some grass-fed meat-eggs-cheese.

6 – The industry torment animals, a vegan diet is the way to prevent this ignominy - wrong.

Part of the industry torment animals by encaging them in smallest confined places, yet a vegan diet is not the way to prevent this practice, it is enough to request an “Animal Welfare” certification. France already decided that all eggs sold in the country must be “free-range” by 2022 and many French supermarkets are already selling ONLY free-range eggs; this paves the way towards animal welfare, a vegan diet is not the answer
